Hows Your Weekend was just surfing through the search engines looking for some new reading posts when i discovered this post on stumble upon. I had to write you a message to state that I truly loved this post. I just can't locate very much high quality anymore on the world-wide-web nowadays with all the trash these days so when I do see a fantastic post I enjoy it. Keep up the fantastic work and I am absolutely sure this website is going to go a long ways and grow to be extremely well known

Thank you Des, That is why I started this website. When I take part in workshops the most important time is when we all share stories and give advice. Many people with special needs children feel that they have no one to share their stories with. My book is about to be finished, lets hope you read mine because I would love to read yours although I have been unable to access it. If you read my story you will see that I also have son who is now 27years old, so I know of the difficulties and rewards you get with dyspraxia. That is why I wrote a book, to enable me to share my experiences and show that it is possible to overcome, move on and progress or just understand dyspraxia.

Hi there,

I have a son, Anthony, who is 21 later this month and who was diagnosed with Dyspraxia when he was 4.

I have decided to put all the major expriences and "epiphanies" into a Blog.

http://DealingwithDyspraxia.blogspot.com

I'm keen to find out if other parents would be interested in stories of hope .. and what to prepare for,

So I'd appreciate it if you would publish this letter on your website and see if you can reach people who might be interested in learning lessons from my family's "on-going" story.

Many thanks

Hi Hazel,
Suppose just want to say its nice to see some practical information and help for parents and teachers on Dyspraxia. I am a mother of two children started to study special needs assistant course in Dublin in October 97. Since starting my course it was evident my daughter 11 years old has been very unhappy at school and as a result has been through assessments to discover the cause of her difficulties and unhappiness. ~The learning I have gone through however led me to conclude that my daughter is affected by Dyspraxia, Dyslexia and also maybe Aspergers Syndrome. These have to be confirmed by the assessments that have taken place but not long ago I said to the psychologist all this stuff Im learning about I can see my daughter in. And so she said well yes I am looking into both dyspraxia and AS. Anyway I just wanted to say thanks this is a nice website to have as a tool or guide to use for help. I am at the moment just waiting for the conclusions of my daughters tests and hoping that she will get the help she needs.

hi

I just read the 'my book' section and had to fight back the tears. You could be telling the tale of my son, except I hope we are more understanding. He is just starting on the procedure for a proper assessment. But thank you, its made me realise a little what its like for him.
